Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties, the following terms and conditions apply to any booking.

FEES

Admission: Complementary admission to your event will be required for myself and one other person, typically my partner Kathy Latzoni (Mambo Zetwal Kleye).

Transportation: If your event is being held within the Boston-Washington corridor, we will arrive via Greyhound or Amtrak. Otherwise, we will most likely require plane tickets. Upon booking we will work with you to find a reasonably-priced fare: since we live in the New York metro area this should not be too difficult. (Alas, like typical New Yorkers, we have no driver's licenses. Hence, if you cannot provide a ride from the airport or bus depot to your location, we will also require reimbursement for taxi fare).

Lodging: For camping events I will require both bedding and camping gear. (That pesky no car thing again... ). I warn you in advance that I am at two with nature, and will require extensive assistance in the setup and maintenance of a tent: events which can offer cabins will be greatly favored.

If your event is being held in a hotel, a nonsmoking room will be required. While we are willing to stay in someone's house, we will require a full-size or greater bed, clean bedding, and reasonable privacy (i.e. a door we can close behind us). My partner Kathy is allergic to cats: if she is coming, we will have to take this into account.

Food: Kenaz is a vegetarian, Kathy is an omnivore. If your event is held on a campground or retreat center, we will need meal plans. If we will be within walking distance of reasonably priced and veggie-friendly restaurants (i.e, most Asian, Mediterranean, or organic places), we will gladly eat there. While we expect reimbursement for meals, we won't stick you with three-figure bills from four-star restaurants: both of us are quite happy with diner food.

BOOKING

The early bird gets the worm. Since one or both of us may need to request time off at Ye Dayjobbes, at least 90 days' advance notice will be required. It is unlikely that we will be able to work with you on less notice unless you are (a) in or very near the New York metro area and (b) holding your event entirely on a weekend or long weekend.

READINGS AND VENDING

I offer readings for interested people: I also sell autographed copies of The Haitian Vodou Handbook and Vodou supplies (Florida Water, Pompeii Lotion, Vodou Crafts, etc.) before and after my workshops.
